Part of the class curriculum is the repair and maintenance of all the computer systems at the AVC. This includes replacing damaged parts, virus removal and software troubleshooting. This real world application is vital in any computer or Information Technology marketplace.
Students also have the opportunity to build their own computer system from the ground up that is theirs to keep at year end. It is this system that the students will be using to master networking security techniques and remote administration as well as defensive computer posture.
