Sophomores Tour AVC

River Ridge Sophomores visited the AVC on December 12 to find out about all of the programs offered. Students watched demonstrations in the Law Enforcement, viewed artwork and projects done by students in Graphics and admired the bodywork done on student vehicles in the Auto Body classroom. The sophomores also visited Child Care, Cisco Networking, Construction, Health Occupations and Restaurant Management. Students visiting the Restaurant Program participated in making Cake Pops which they ate while learning about the many activities in the kitchen.

Sophomore tours at the AVC give the students the opportunity to explore career interests as they make important decisions about their futures.
