Outstanding Students of First Quarter

Shannon Speer, daughter of Dawn Speer and Robert Speer, is a junior at River Ridge high school. Shannon was chosen as the outstanding student for first quarter based on her ability to accurately complete her Health Occupations I course in a timely manner. She earned an excellent grade in the program and has shown a willingness to step up during class and get the job done. Shannon is looking at a career in neonatal nursing and started out well at the AVC.
Jordyn Hicks, a junior at Warren high school and the daughter of Daniel and Andrea Hicks, was named the outstanding student for the first quarter in the health occupations program. Jordyn was selected for this award because of her excellent work on her homework assignments, testing and skills work for the class. Jordyn has proved to be a real asset in the program and is planning on taking her knowledge gained and going into the pediatric nursing field.
Lindsey Bell, daughter of Lori Bell and Barrett Bell, is a senior at Galena high school. Lindsey is an energetic young lady who has shown her potential in working in the health care field. Lindsey works hard on her homework and has an excellent grade in the program. Lindsey is planning on pursuing a degree in the nursing field.
