EMT Syllabus

This program teaches emergency medical technology to the beginning provider. The course work is designed to prepare the student for service on an ambulance or rescue squad. It provides emphasis on learning techniques to provide the best care for the emergency patient. Students will use techniques and skills learned as they complete their clinical hours and their state certification exam.
Prerequisite: Health Occupations I or approval by Instructor
