The JDC AVC 2006-2007 BPA Chapter is underway! We held our first meeting on September 24, 2006 and we congratulate the following members on their elected positions:

Once our officers were elected, we moved on to the next item of business which was preparing for the Leadership Conference we will be attending in Oak Brook, November 17 & 18, 2006. The purpose of this conference is to meet other Illinois BPA members, elect state BPA officers, and attend team building workshops designed to introduce the goals of BPA to new members and provide innovative and fresh ideas on how to make individual chapters successful. Regional and State competitive events will be discussed and we will get pumped up for the Destination Success National Leadership Conference/Competition which will be held in New York City, May 9-13, 2007. As you can see, this will be a busy year for the JDC AVC BPA Chapter! Our new officers have been busy brainstorming and scheduling activities that will gain them special BPA recognition in the areas of safety, community service, and chapter growth.
